Are You a Leader or a Manager?
Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to watch this Seth Godin video on the difference between a leader and a manager!
So what is one big difference that sticks out to you between a leader and a manager? Maybe it is something Godin said or something you’ve learned. LOVE to hear your thoughts!

I really like the idea of “firing” customers. As someone who used to wait tables, we would waste all of our energy trying to satisfy people who could not be satisfied thus reducing my tips from other 5 tables who great.
Churches spend too much time trying to appease the power hungry rather than focusing on the people the power hungry have hurt. We should be ok letting people leave our churches if they do not fit with the culture (i.e. a more liberal church shouldn’t waste too much energy trying to appease someone who follows the reformed movement). I understand this has some pitfalls but I think we should be ok letting people go in order to more effectively help others.
Just a thought. I understand it sounds callous. Not my intention.
Are his glasses not a joke?
That’s the only question I have.
I know. Shallow mind.

Hmmm, maybe not so shallow. I submit that his glasses personify his message. He is not following and anybody could manage better:) He is leading. His glasses say what he believes (fashion sense or shear rebellion? I can not say.). See who follows. OK DS, I agree; he’s probably not going to be next Oakley.
